WorkRate ESPP 26

New York City

Elite Soccer Performance Program

A structured offseason football development system for serious players in New York City.

The Story

ESPP was built to keep serious footballers engaged, fit, and progressing throughout the offseason. After successful implementations in Tampa from 2022–2024, WorkRate now brings the system to New York City with a more advanced, wearable-integrated approach to football development.

Built around movement quality, conditioning, physiological testing, and objective player tracking, ESPP helps identify limiting factors while building long-term player profiles directly connected to football performance.

Player Pathways

Developmental Profile

For football athletes ages 13–15 focused on movement quality, speed development, conditioning, and long-term player development.

This is an offseason development program running throughout June, July, and August.

Includes:

  • 1 Biomechanical Assessment

  • 1 Monthly Educational Session at WorkRate Labs focused on conditioning, movement, and performance training principles.

  • Laser Sprint Testing

  • Access to All Open Track Sessions for conditioning, speed development, and movement training.

  • Home conditioning and speed development program

Built to identify limiting factors in movement, speed, and football-specific physical development throughout the offseason.

Performance Profile

For serious football athletes ages 16+ focused on high-level conditioning, physiological monitoring, and long-term performance development.

This is an offseason development program running throughout June, July, and August.

Includes:

  • 1 Biomechanical Assessment

  • 1 Monthly Educational Session at WorkRate Labs focused on conditioning, movement, and performance training principles.

  • Running Efficiency Testing (RET) and Laser Sprint Testing

  • Access to All Open Track Sessions for conditioning, speed development, and movement training.

  • Home conditioning and speed development program

Built to identify limiting factors in movement, speed, and football-specific physical development throughout the offseason.

$129 / month

ESPP is intentionally kept small to ensure each athlete receives meaningful oversight, testing, and individualized feedback throughout the summer.

Priority placement is given to athletes committed to long-term development and those already participating within the WorkRate ecosystem.

Once capacity is reached, registration will close.

Why Build a Player Profile?

A profile creates an objective snapshot of the athlete — helping identify limiting factors in movement, conditioning, and running ability while tracking development over time. The goal is simple: build a clearer understanding of the player’s physical capacities and how they translate into football performance.

Football development is more than technical and tactical ability. Physical qualities such as movement efficiency, conditioning, speed, fatigue management, and physical preparedness directly influence performance and long-term progression within the game.

After You Register – What Happens Next

  • Once registered, parents and athletes will receive an onboarding email with all the key information needed to begin the program.

    This includes:

    • Athlete health questionnaire (PAR-Q)

    • Monthly training schedule

    • Session registration links

    • Program and onboarding instructions

This email serves as your roadmap for the summer, so please review everything carefully before the athlete attends their first session.

  • No health questionnaire, no training.

Athlete safety is our top priority. The onboarding health questionnaire helps us identify potential risks before participation and ensures athletes are training in the safest and most appropriate environment possible.

All required onboarding forms must be completed before attending sessions. WorkRate reserves the right to refuse participation or service if safety requirements are not met.

  • Athletes and parents will receive calendar invites for all sessions included within their program.

From there, you’ll be able to:

    • Register for conditioning, testing, and open track sessions

    • Stay organized with automatic calendar reminders

    • Receive updated scheduling information throughout the summer as programming evolves and expands

FAQs

  • Educational sessions, conditioning sessions, and performance calibration sessions are scheduled on a monthly basis.

Rather than setting fixed dates months in advance, WorkRate coordinates scheduling based on athlete availability and facility access. This approach allows us to maximize attendance, provide a better experience for all participants, and ensure each developmental group receives appropriate support throughout the summer.

Registered athletes and parents will receive advance notice and registration links for upcoming sessions as dates are confirmed.

  • Both programs focus on movement quality, speed development, power, conditioning, and long-term football development.

The primary difference is that athletes in the Performance Profile (16+) are old enough to participate in WorkRate's physiological testing systems, including Running Efficiency Testing (RET), maximal capacity testing, and wearable-integrated performance monitoring.

For athletes ages 13–15, the focus remains on building the physical foundation necessary for higher levels of play through movement development, speed training, conditioning, and objective performance assessments such as biomechanical analysis and sprint testing.

The Developmental Profile is designed to prepare athletes for the demands of the Performance Profile as they mature and progress through the system.
